That backing picture definitely is not from part 7. Also, the chevron is wrong on both, as it was a combination of the width and depth of the v shaped one with the straight horizontal top line of the triangular one.
A Frustrated Gamer Jason has never been a zombie, he is a demon. I didn’t have any issue with them changing his look a little bit. If anything it makes him more human. Long hair and beard vs shaved head and face. I have no problem with that. He dies in part four, so of course in part 6 when he returns he is rotted and disgusting looking. Part 7 and 8 are a continuation of this. Part 8 his face is melted due to acid being thrown in his face at the end of the movie, that is why he tears off his mask and howls in pain. The reason his mask changes in this movie is because at the end of part 7, Tina destroys his mask. He gets a new one in the beginning of part 8. I always assumed the way he looks in part 9 is due to the damage the acid did in part 8, as he has similar clothing and everything but his head is severely swollen and deformed. FvJ and Jason X are very different, I’ll give you that. I disagree with you about the rest though, with the reasoning given above.

I’m not talking about as a little monster thing like in part 9 but his soul is demonic. His body isn’t destroyed until part 9 so we never see him in his more demonic parasitic form, but rather his true body. Please do more research before commenting, and reread my first comment as I explain all of your complaints in this comment.

Part 8, Jason at this point is almost a camp legend, it wouldn’t surprise me if there are masked based on his. In real life we have entire movie series based on killers - see Leatherface and Ed Gein. The mask in part 9 can again be explained in this way, though I admit this was a bit of a stretch. As far as his face, his eye is reversed in part 9 as well. Part 9 is definitely the weakest of the first 9. Part 7 mask was likely severely damaged over time, not to mention being underwater for years would have caused it to warp and lose its shape. As far as his eye in part 7, that is an interesting thing to notice, that one escaped me. I still stand by my argument that he becomes a demon in 6 when he is resurrected, it just isn’t explained until 9.
Ohhh don't worry sir, Inhumanoid Throwbacks are already planned just a matter of when I can reshoot them, planning on throwbacks on many of the older reviews I've done, so stay tuned for that

i agree spot. the new release is better. but that original display stand is awesome! the thing that sucks is for those of us who paid top dollar to collectors selling their stuff a couple years ago. i might have paid $40 for the original about 2-3 years ago.
funny as accurate as the rel released hock is now the angled triangle is wrong and was more accurate before, easy paint fix though, love the new coloring to the clothes, im really looking forward to a new part 7, with no gloves and all that .

The chain that comes with him sucks. I took a silver necklace chain, cut it down and added some terra-cotta colored acrylic paint to make it look rusty. Necklace chain proportionately looks better, and has a little shine left.
Got both versions plus the 18 inch one and the 15" resin statue and bust... funny fact is that actually the 7 inches versions are wayyy to big to fit with other jason s release (and it's crouched too) the 18 inch one is small to be in a correct scale with the other 18 inch horror figures... Needs to be remaked asap...
One thing that I noticed on the figure even though it doesn't take away from the figure but I noticed that the triangle on the mask isn't completely correct because in the movie it's a whole triangle instead of a v triangle.

The re-release hockey mask looks to be a tad smaller, no? Also, the original release also had a chain around his neck, looks like yours never had one or you lost it over time.
I bought two of the rereleased jason voorhees figure and both the white paint on the mask was terrible. Is it meant to be missing in certain places and look brown/wooden can't tell from your video but if I could be bothered I would paint it anyway nice figure nonetheless :)

the red triangle is on the part 7 mask,,i have this,its my favorite,it was my favorite costume make up of all the films...mine didnt need a base,it stands on its own,mine came with a machette,ax,and spear...he's crazy,the original is way better

Neca needs to re-release this as a 7-inch figure with articulation, along with part 2, 5, 8, and 9.
I couldn't get my hands on the Michael Myers re-release.....I looked everywhere.
